It's a no brainer - Karting with AKRA is more affordable - it's more enjoyable with no BS from the fun police - more of a relaxed atmosphere - and no threat of being BANNED from your favourite hobby.
AKRA will not be for everyone and that is fine. If you are happy to pay too much and hope one day you might be the next Mark Winterbottom or James Courtney, Michael Caruso, Dean Canto or Mark Wenber I hope you have very deep pockets because you are going to need it.
And for your info those drivers all grew up in karting racing the karts and engines and classes we use at AKRA and it worked well for them.
But if your still OK with bending over taking it up the exhaust pipe, (pun intended) then I wish you well in your Karting career, just hope you don't have to mortage the house to stay in Karting.

Makes karting expensive for the majority of the average Club Karter
State Titles & Australian Championships - Series over multi rounds forcing Karters to compete at all rounds to win a State Title increasing Kart costs, travelling costs, accomodation costs, and most importantly the time away from work on multiple occassions. The average karter who has a normal job might get 2 weeks holiday a year and can organise that around 1 or 2 major events a year. If you have 3 State Rounds, 5 Australian Championship rounds you can see the avarge karter who would like to compete at these events simply can't get time away from work.
Annual Budget - running costs
ten's of thousands of dollars
$40,000 - $100,000
